Q: Does Cosmetic Acupuncture work?
Yes. Research has shown that microneedling is effective in reducing sagging of skin, drooping of eyelids, and other skin conditions with little to no downtime.

Q: What are the benefits of Cosmetic Acupuncture?
Cosmetic acupuncture helps improve muscle tone therefore improving early signs of sagging and drooping of the skin; and improving skin texture. It also increases collagen and elastin production helping reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Acupuncture treats the underlying causes of aging in each individual case it can also help in reducing acne, brightening complexion, reducing puffiness and facial swelling.
Q: How many treatments do I need to see results?
Every case is different and your whole lifestyle will influence your results. On average it can take up to 3-8 treatments to see results. And it can take up to 12-24 treatments before you can start with maintenance. Maintenance can be aprox. every 3-4 months or as needed.
Q: What’s the optimal pace for maximum results?
On average it is highly recommended to have at least 3 consecutive (at minimum once per week, at maximum three times per week) sessions before starting to notice results. Once desired results are acquired sessions can be spaced depending on each individual’s needs.
Q: What’s the difference between Cosmetic Acupuncture and Microneedling?
Cosmetic Acupuncture can it’s a modality that is best for improving muscle tone therefore it is the best technique used for improving early signs of sagging. It can be performed 1-3x per week because it doesn’t have any downtime.
Microneedling it’s a modality that it is best at increasing collagen and elastin production because it produces new skin cells. This helps best to brighten the skin and give it a healthy youthful glow; reduces the appearance of fine line and wrinkles; reduces age and sunspots; reduces acne; reduces acne scars and stretch marks; and increases hair production. Microneedling its recommended to be performed once every 3-4 weeks when treating everything except hair loss (which its recommended to receive once every 2 weeks). Microneedling has a 3-4 week downtime due to the need to wait for cell regeneration to take place before we treat again.
